Why? It seems that I’ve been working on this abstract forever. It’s not even an abstract for a paper. It’s the abstract for a talk. C’mon, that’s a piece of cake! Writer’s block? I edit a bit here, a bit there, but it’s still no good! Why? Perhaps it is exactly because it is an abstract for a talk. I’m allowed two pages! That’s way too long. What kind of an abstract is that?? It’s really not an abstract at all. That’s why. I’m trying to write an abstract that should be an ultra-condensed paper. Or is it that I am trying to write an ultra-condensed paper that should be an abstract? … It’s late.
